Things I Will Never Understand (8/26/12)

Okay, so I thought these were gross, until I was trying to find a picture of them and came across some other really interesting potato chip flavors. Apparently, there is a market for some other crazy flavors, including, my personal favorite: lamb and mint. I cannot even imagine!

Apparently Lay’s is having a contest to create the next new hit flavor. In my house, that is translated to mean, “You are going to the store? We need potato chips. Because they are having a contest to make up a new flavor.” How are these statements causally related? Besides, we don’t NEED potato chips. We have generic Sunchips. Oh, I’m sorry, there is a trace of nutritional content in those, so they are in the wheat germ category.

Your kids would love my house. We always have chips, regular chips, even if they are the supermarket generic brand. We are partial to the ridged kind, but still. No one in this house will even consider having a sandwich without either chips on the actual sandwich or chips on the side, LOL! My daughter is “in training” now for field hockey, so she is off of chips. As a result, no one can have a sandwich, LOL!

Well, as long as they don’t actually contain meat, LOL! I also came across curry, seaweed and sea salt, and, I think, pomegranate (the writing was in Chinese so I can’t be sure, but it looked like a picture of a pomegranate). Crazy.

Roast chicken, prawn cocktail and steak and onion are all very popular flavours in the UK. I can’t stand the chicken or prawn but I do like the steak and onion ones. They don’t actually contain meat though.

We also have Worcester sauce flavour and smoky bacon flavour, both of which are disgusting.
